A unique staking process holds the insert in the tube end of the body during shipment and assembly but it if it is necessary to remove the tubing the insert breaks away from the body without affecting the sealing quality of the sleeve or joining and is retained in the tubing. Reconnection to a pressure tight seal is easily accomplished by reassembling the end of the tubing with the insert and sleeve attached with body of the fitting and tightening the nit.  If a tubing is to be used that does not require support, the insert is easily removable by putting sideward pressure on the insert, breaking loose the staked retaining feature, this has no effect on the sealing quality of the fitting.
